MUSICAL THEATRE PRODUCTIONS

Our musical theatre department is a very busy one with students aged from 3 to 18 performing, being part of our youth theatre company, working towards LAMDA and Trinity Musical Theatre exams and performing in local and national events.  Current students have recently gained places at Italia Conti and the Arts Educational to further their studies after 18.

Each year the youth theatre produce a well known or brand new musical written especially for the youth theatre.  Past productions include:

2012 - ALICE IN WONDERLAND - New Adaptation

2013 - THE WATERBABIES - New Musical - Keira won the Best Youth Performer at the Swan Awards with Arts Richmond

2014 - AROUND THE WORLD IN EIGHTY DAYS - New Musical - Millie was nominated for Best Youth Performer for the Swan Awards with Arts Richmond.

2014 - WHISPERS OF WAR - New Musical

2015 - OLIVER - by Lionel Bart - Millie and Sean were both nominated for Best Young Performer and Won the Swan Awards for Best Young Female and Male Performer respectively.  The production was nominated for Best Youth Production.  Cillian was nominated for Best Young Actor and won.

2016 - ANNIE GET YOUR GUN by Dorothy and Herbert Fields  - Millie and Georgia were nominated for Best Young Performers and Millie won.  The show was nominated for Best Youth Production and won.
