
EMMA LOUISE TINNISWOOD - FOUNDER, ACTING, MUSICAL THEATRE & MUSIC
Emma is an actor, director, writer and teacher who founded Step On Stage in 2005. Emma graduated from The University of London (BA Hons in Drama and Music), Central School of Speech and Drama (P.Cert Applied Theatre), University of London (QTS - Drama, Music and History) and University of Dundee (M.Litt and QG) and has worked in theatres and education for the last 22 years. She is deeply passionate about the performing arts and the benefits it can hold for young people. She has directed over 150 productions for children and adults and has been involved in over 30 others in varying roles! Credits are too numerous to mention but favourite productions have been Look Back In Anger (Electric Theatre, Guildford), Two Gentlemen of Verona (Farnham Shakespeare Festival), After The Dance (Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Guildford), Edward II (Rose Theatre Bankside), The Merchant of Venice (Riverside Studios), Midsummer Nights Dream (Richmond Theatre), The Edelweiss Pirates (Bush Theatre), Les Liaisons Dangereuse (Electric Theatre Guildford), My Hearts A Suitcase (Mill Studio Guildford), The Willow Pattern (Lyric Theatre Hammersmith) Millie's Dream (Rhoda McGaw Theatre) and Frankenstein (Edinburgh Fringe Festival).
Emma loves teaching all aspects of the performing arts but she specialises in directing & devising, music, musical theatre, physical theatre, acting technique, playwriting and classical acting. She has taught in primary and secondary schools as well as numerous youth theatres and companies. Emma also teaches privately and has prepared students for LAMDA, TRINITY and ABRSM examinations for 18 years. Students have gained Drama scholarships to St Georges Weybridge, Kingston Grammar School, St Catherine's Twickenham, Prior' s Field Godalming and gained places at Webber Douglas, Italia Conti and Arts Educational Schools.
Emma writes and regularly writes for young people and youth theatres with numerous plays and musicals being performed and published. She was a LAMDA examiner for a number of years prior to having her little boy. She has recently had work published for LAMDA and in Acting and Poetry anthologies and is currently working on a series of new plays for young actors. ALICE FLETCHER - DANCE & MUSICAL THEATRE
Alice began dancing at the age of two and continued her training when she moved to Hong Kong two years later. She has trained extensively in Ballet, Tap and Jazz, while completing her RAD Ballet exams and ISTD Tap and Modern exams, gaining Distinctions throughout. At 16 she was accepted to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts as a full time Ballet student where she gained a Diploma in Dance, before returning to the UK to attend the Guildford School of Acting where she graduated with a BA(Hons) in Musical Theatre. Some of Alice’s credits include Sleeping Beauty (Rhodes Arts Centre), Sleeping Beauty (The Riverfront Theatre) Cinderella (Belgrade Theatre), Ivy Smith in On The Town (Ivy Arts Centre) , and Ariel Moore in Footloose, (HKAPA). Her screen credits include 'Meg' WILL - a series for the TNT network USA, 'The Revenger: an Unromantic Comedy' (Solar Productions UK) and 9 TV shows for the RTHK Network. Alice has also worked as a dancer at Hong Kong Disneyland and has danced with the Hong Kong Ballet Company. Alice has been teaching at Step on Stage for over 5 years, and loves seeing her students achieve their goals.

TOM HIER - ACTING & MUSIC
Tom graduated from the Guildford School of Acting where he studied a BA (hons) in Musical Theatre. He currently teaches at the Guildford School of Acting and Italia Conti as well as Step on Stage. Since the age of two, Tom has been singing and performing at prestigious venues throughout the country. With a 1st class Honours degree, Tom is well-equipped to lead on all areas of performance. Achieving Grade 8 Voice with ABRSM himself, coupled with his experience from a young age, he is able to fully empathise with the needs of pupils. Tom has also obtained Grade 8 Piano, Music Theory & also plays the Drums & Guitar. Tom has vast experience in all genres of singing and can therefore draw upon techniques of Classical, Musical Theatre & Contemporary/Pop singing. Having been a pupil at stage schools & theatre companies himself, Tom understands how to produce hard-working pupils whilst having lots of fun.
Tom enjoys working with a variety of abilities, and also provides individual sessions. Tom is passionate about targeting the specific needs of a pupil ensuring continuous development of the Voice. Tom has recently been on a UK tour in Joseph and His Technicolour Dreamcoat and Miss Saigon, as well as with Classical Brit Award Winners 'Only Men Aloud' and is thrilled to be back with the children at Step on Stage.

MILLIE BEAZLEY - DANCE & MUSICAL THEATRE
Millie has been a part of Step On Stage since 2010 and is now teaching Dance for the Saturday Musical Theatre classes. She has been dancing since the age of 2 years old and has trained in Ballet (Grade 8 RAD), Contemporary, Modern and Tap. She has also completed her Grade 8 exams for both Acting and Musical Theatre. Millie is currently in her final year studying BA (Hons) Acting at the Arts Educational School in Chiswick. Millie was in the King and I in 2009 at the Royal Albert Hall and has recently worked alongside Sir David Attenborough for events at Strawberry Hill House. She was named Richmond Festivals Young Speech and Drama Performer of the Year in 2017 and has been in many Step on Stage productions, including Millie’s Dream playing the role of older Millie, which she was nominated for Best Young Actress and Tillie in Sing Little Cuckoo, both which were performed at the Woking Festival. She was also in Oliver! and Annie Get Your Gun winning the Swan Awards Best Young Female Performer in 2015 and 2016 for her roles as Nancy and Annie. Other credits include: Pickering (Short Film), Little Crackers (TV), The Merchant of Venice (Theatre), Romeo and Juliet (Theatre), Alice in Wonderland (Theatre), Around the World in 80 Days (Theatre)

SHERELLE KELLEHER - ACTING & VOCAL COACH
Sherelle Kelleher is a professional actor and singer based in London. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2017, with a Distinction in Musical Theatre Performance (MA). As a versatile mezzo soprano, she specialises in contemporary musical theatre, pop, and soul. With over 20 years performance experience, she is passionate about stage, screen, and voice-over work. Musical Theatre credits include Lucille in Vivo D'Arté's production of Parade at the Frogmore Paper Mill, and Jaquenetta in Love’s Labour’s Lost at the Hackney Empire. Screen credits include national advertising campaigns for The Irish National Lottery & Irish Life. Last year Sherelle made her TV debut as Nola in BBC's Call the Midwife. Sherelle recently recorded a Voice Over for 'Assassin's Creed - Valhalla', which was released in November 2020. She discovered a love of Voiceover work from this venture and has turned her hand to the skill of audiobook narration, working with 2 leading UK audiobook production companies. Her love of acting teaching developed after graduating from her MA although she is no stranger to teaching, having taught German through her BA in German and Irish Language Studies. She is also a passionate fibre artist, leading regular knitting and crochet workshops as well as designing her own garments. She is delighted to join the Step on Stage Family and looks forward to working with you :)

Naomi has been assisting the mini musical theatre classes at Step On Stage since 2015 and previous to that was a student there herself. She has worked through LAMDA exams in verse and prose as well as acting from the age of 4 and placed several times in the Richmond Festival of Speech and Drama. At school Naomi's roles in productions included Professor Higgins in My Fair Lady, Puff in We Will Rock You and the Electric Eel in Step On Stage's Production of the Water Babies. Post school, she has become a member of Teddington Theatre Club and recently played the part of D4-QP in their panto production of King Arthur in Space. She is currently also a member of Youth Action Theatre where she played the parts of Angie in Our House and Gregory in Romeo and Juliet. After completing a diploma in film and tv, she went on to work for Killing Eve for the BBC, Blinded by the Light and James Bond's No Time to Die. Whilst she still works periodically in this field, she is currently also working in a local nursery and bringing her passion of performing arts there too.

SCARLETT GLADSTONE - TEACHING ASSISTANT
Scarlett has been a part of Step On Stage since 2010 and has since participated in piano, singing, drama, dance and musical theatre classes. She now assists with musical theatre classes on a Saturday morning.
She has recently completed her Grade 8 Acting alongside Grade 8 Musical Theatre and Grade 8 Production of A Play. Scarlett is in her final year studying an A Level Drama course following on from completing GCSE Drama with a grade 9.
Scarlett has also been a part of many productions with Step On Stage at Hampton Hill Theatre including: The Waterbabies, Around The World In 80 Days, Oliver, Annie Get Your Gun, Goodnight Mr Tom and most recently, she was Scrooge in A Christmas Carol.
