Our fabulous Senior Acting and Musical Theatre class performed their play, Hope, written my Emma Louise Tinniswood at the Woking Drama Festival 2019. They took to the Rhoda McGaw Stage with confidence and we. Are super proud of them. Well done to cast and crew! We were nominated for Best Costume, Award for technical Excellence and Best New Play.

5 children aged 4 to 16 performed at the Normansfield Theatre , Teddington on Sunday December 6th for our annual Charity Gala Concert, The Holly and Ivy Evening.  What a fantastic evening it was of singing, dacning, acting, musical theatre and readings.  The Mayor of the Borough of Richmond Upon Thames was in attendance along with several members of the Royal Hospital Chelsea. The performances were in aid this year, of CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading charity for Children with Cancer.  We are still totalling up the funds and will announce what we have made shortly.
35 children and parents tap danced in the lovely dance studio at Movers and Shapers in St Margarets, Richmond on Sunday November 15th in aid of CHILDREN IN NEED and also as part of a National World record attempt to have the most people tap dancing at the same time.  We had a fantastic morning and overall The Performers project who organsied the event across the country made over £36,000 for Children In Need. A huge well done to everyone who danced!

Huge congratulations to Maiya who is currently appearing in Billy Elliott in the West End and who recently performed in the 10th Anniversary Billy Elliott production.  What a great experience and a wonderful memory for her!  She continues to perform until April 2016 and has also just gained a place in the London Childrens Ballet and will be performing Little Lord Fauntelroy at the Peacock Theatre next year.

50 students, staff and parents went to Belgium on February 28th to spend the day exploring the first world war battlefields as part of their 4 year World War One Anniversary project.  They visited the trenches at Bayernwald, and the cemetary at Tyne Cot.  This was followed by an afternoon in Ypres.  Teacher Emma and two students, Elise and Saoirse participated in the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate, laying a wreath on behalf of everyone at Step On Stage in memory of the fallen.
