Participation in the arts can provide a valuable foundation for children and young peoples lives.   In a world where trhe pressures of life and education seem to affect children younger and younger, the importance of creative play and the development of their creative spirit is very important.   Step On Stage was founded with the belief that involvement in the performing arts can help to develop not only onstage abilities, but many wonderful skills off stage as well.   

We believe passionately in the importance of the performing arts and how it can help to enrich your childs life and develop their confidence and self-esteem, as well as promote self-expression, creativity, enhance their imaginations and develop communication skills.   Those children and young people who have had their creativity encouraged when young are often the children that go on to lead the most fufilled lives and generally speaking achievd more. From my own experiences as a performer, director, teacher and practitioner, which research also confirms, particiaption in the arts can provide a valuable foundation for young peoples lives.

We are dedicated to encouraging young people to reach their maximum potential in a fun and friendly setting and through the use of Drama, Music, Dance and Creative Movement we provide expert weekly workshops to students aged from 3 to 18 as well as adults.   Our teachers are all trained theatre practitioners and education professionals who are dedicated to making your child’s experience at Step on Stage fun, exciting and rewarding.  

As well as our weekly Drama, Music, Dance and Musical Theatre Classes we also run a range of Half-term and Holiday Workshops and Summer School, as well as School Workshops for Nurseries, Key stage 1 and 2, Drama Clubs, Drama and Dance Birthday Parties.
