'Act 1 Mini's' 3 - 4 year olds
This class is for the youngest children and is aimed to help chidlren at this age develop their confidence, make new freinds and develop thier imaginations and creativity. Children attend
a one hour workshop each week and we take no more than 12 children in each class.
Children will explore a wide range of dramatic skills and conventions through poetry, stories, plays and songs. Each half term is centred around a particular theme and we use a combination of Drama, Games, Music and CreativeMovement to explore characters and places.
Each class begins with warm up activities to get
the bodies, minds and voices focussed on Drama. The children use
songs, games and creative movement exercises which are develop
especailly for the theme that term. The children then listen to a
story, which has been written specifically for their age-group. We
work on re-capping the story and then enacting the story in order to
develop your child's imagination and creativity using costumes, music, puppets and props. Each week the children are encouraged to create their own ideas for varying games and activities as well as help solve problems within the stories.
